"Savage" is also the title track of aespa’s first mini-album of the same name. According to a Korea Herald report, Winter said in an online press conference, "The album is jam-packed with songs portraying various charms of the group, from energetic dance tunes, such as ‘Savage,’ to emotional pop songs."
