Marvel and Disney+ have Loki is on its way, and a new trailer has been released to keep fans eagerly waiting after the series' release date had been pushed back slightly, before being brought forward again.
Tom Hiddleston will play the role of titular God of Mischief, which reveals what happened to Loki after he disappeared during Avengers: Endgame. As shown in the trailer, Loki is transported to the bureaucratic Time Variance Authority, having broken reality by interfering with the Tesseract.
When is the release date?
The series will debut on Disney+on Wednesday, June 9. It had been set to premiere on Friday, June 11, but the wait was made a little bit shorter this week, so fans of Tom Hiddleston are more than permitted to start getting excited.
Who are the cast?
As well as Tom Hiddleston, the cast also includes Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu, Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant.
What do we know about Loki on Disney+?
As one of the best villains in the Marvel Universe, Loki will begin the series as a villain, as he was in The Avengers movie. With the series taking place across many timelines, Loki will fix any anomalies in the timeline.
In the Vote Loki comics, we saw Loki making a run for President of the United States, and though we might not see something exactly in line with this, it will be used as inspiration. We have seen Loki in the same costume as depicted in Vote Loki.
