Dear Eonni: A BLACKPINK fan tells the hilarious story of how she turned her mom into a BLINK member

Over the past few weeks, we've received letters from different parts of the globe addressed to numerous K-pop girl groups and their members. If you have been following the series, you would have seen letters addressed to members of Red Velvet, MAMAMOO and TWICE. Today, we feature a letter from a fan addressed to BLACKPINK. An Indian fan named Anushka Ghosh reveals how she turned her mom into a BLINK member.

Dear Eonni,

Anushka from India here! Hope you read my letter. You can call me a new born BLINK. It's not even 6 months since became a BLINK. My friends are all mad at K-POP, especially BTS, ATEEZ and BLACKPINK. But, honestly, I'm no way interested in K-POP but Blackpink. I love all of you. I don't have a bias because all of you are so talented that I definitely can't choose one. So, I'm ot4.

I first found interest in Blackpink while listening to the post-chorus of 'How you like that' in one of my friends' WhatsApp status updates. I went to Spotify, listened to all the songs and fell in love with them.

My mom loves music. She herself sings excellently. And I use my mom's phone to listen to songs and stuff. We listen to tour songs together, she is now a BLINK as well.

I would love to learn the Korean language. I find it lovely. And moreover I would be able to understand the meaning of your songs by learning it. You know, it's hard to look at the subtitles while listening. All the songs are so damn good that it's hard to decide which one's my favourite. Rosé is mom's favourite vocalist out of you four and both of us love Lisa's raps. I love Rosé's vocals as well. Rosé, there's something about your voice. I just love it. My love for Jennie and Jisoo is no less. If I start listing down everything I love about the four of you, it's gonna need ages. For me, Blackpink is the best K-Pop band. I don't care what others think. So, I end here. Best wishes for your future! Love you!
