On March 31, OSEN reported that JB (JAY B) is discussing an exclusive contract with H1GHR MUSIC, a label headed by Jay Park.
In response, a source from H1GHR MUSIC stated to news outlets, “Nothing has been decided in relation to recruiting GOT7’s JB.”
H1GHR MUSIC houses artists Sik-K, GroovyRoom, pH-1, Woodie Gochild, HAON, Woogie, Big Naughty, and more.
JB debuted in 2012 through KBS2’s “Dream High 2” and the duo JJ Project with Jinyoung. In 2014, he debuted again as a member of GOT7. Seven years later, the group left JYP Entertainment following the expiration of their contracts. The members have confirmed that they will continue to together as a group regardless of their circumstances, and they released the song “ENCORE” in February. JB has changed his stage name to JAY B and opened a new Twitter account and YouTube channel.
Youngjae is signed with Sublime Artist Agency, and Jackson’s label TEAM WANG has also signed a business agreement with Sublime Artist Agency. Mark has returned to his hometown of Los Angeles, while Jinyoung signed with BH Entertainment, Yugyeom joined AOMG, and BamBam signed with Abyss Company.
