BLACKPINK’s Rosé released her M/V Making Film and we can’t stop gushing over how cute she looks and her supportive friends!
After the long, a bit controversy-filled wait, BLACKPINK’s Rosé released her much anticipated solo debut album, titled R, with the lead track On The Ground. On March 13, she released a 6-minute behind-the-scenes video where we can see her group member Jisoo, visiting her on the set, and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri sent in a truck to congratulate her!
The video starts with Rosé goofily prepping up with the director for the wire-flying scene and then filming it. The next thing they record is the stunning end-scene of the MV where Rosé’s wearing the gorgeous pink floral dress, sitting in a field of white flowers. Next comes the solo scenes and another BLACKPINK member Jisoo! They share a brief moment on the set where Jisoo encourages her by saying “You’re a living Rose, so it’s befitting that there are a lot of flowers here!” to which Rose replies, “Yes, I’m a human rose!”
On Day 2 of the shoot, Girl’s Day’s Hyeri sent a coffee truck on the sets of her music video with a badge that says, “Here comes Rosé Park. Everyone move aside” with a goofy photo of Rosé. The atmosphere of the various sets looks breathtaking as we see a dolled-up Rose, run in the backdrop of a setup burning, sparks flying here and there, and even a car being blown up! Towards the end of the video when the filming is done, Rose gets teary-eyed and expresses her gratitude towards the hardworking staff.
