Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer Will Release Before Movie, Says Kevin Feige - News Nation USA

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, has confirmed that a trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released before the film hits theaters. Fans have been wanting a trailer for a while now, and the film is seemingly talked about on social media in great lengths. This has been a highly anticipated film, especially since fans have loved Tom Holland’s portrayal of Peter Parker and his appearances in other MCU films. His two solo films, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home have been financial and critical successes, so fans are excited to see the same success in the third.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third film in the MCU Spider-Man film series. There is little detail on what the story will be so far. It is known that it will follow Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man dealing with the fallout of the previous film, Spider-Man: Far From Home. At the end of Far From Home, villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) is presumed to be dead, but released a video exposing Peter’s secret identity to the world. It’s also known that Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will be in the movie, making the connections to the multiverse even stronger, especially since Feige revealed that No Way Home will tie into Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. There have also been many rumors and interviews that have hinted that the other Spider-Man actors, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, will be in the film as well, along with some of the villains from their film series.

Now, Kevin Feige has discussed the release of the No Way Home trailer. In an interview with ComicBook.com, Feige discusses the lack of a trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, and confirms that the trailer will indeed release before the movie premieres. Check out Feige’s quote below:

Shang-Chi is coming out, the Eternals trailer just came out, but yes on December 17, we have the third in our Homecoming trilogy with Sony and Jon Watts and with Tom Holland,” Feige explained. “I can only guarantee there will be a trailer before the movie comes out.”

it should be no surprise by now that Feige has not said much of anything about the No Way Home trailer. Feige and the people who work for/with Marvel Studios are notoriously quiet about their projects. Marvel Studios enjoys releasing information and talking about upcoming projects when they want to, so fans will have to wait until Sony and Marvel Studios are ready to release the trailer. There is no clear reason as to why there has not been much marketing for the movie, but one factor could be the fear of it being delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Sony recently delayed Venom: Let There Be Carnage, so some fans are afraid No Way Home could be next. Of course, the only way to know that is if Sony or Marvel Studios officially announces a delay, so there could be other factors that have led to the silence.

Kevin Feige’s coy comment about the trailer should surprise no MCU fan. While the expectations are high and the fans are ready to see something from the film, they will not get anything until Marvel Studios and Sony are ready to show what they have. Waiting around for such a huge and exciting film is certainly not easy, especially when the marketing has been so minimal, but at least there’s the knowledge that Spider-Man: No Way Home is expected to hit theaters on December 17.
