The Kid Laroi tests negative to Covid-19 during livestream... after he visited a spa with his girlfriend while he was supposedly 'locked in a room'
The Kid Laroi has left fans confused after announcing he had Covid-19, only to backtrack later by saying he didn't have the virus.
The LA-based Australian rapper, 17, whose real name is Charlton Howard, claimed on Instagram on Monday he'd been in quarantine for the 'past seven days'.
'It's been a while since I've been back home [in Australia] because of Covid (which I currently have and have been locked in a room for the past seven days),' he wrote.

But hours later he updated this caption to remove any reference to Covid-19.
He edited the post after unexpectedly receiving a negative test result that day during a livestream with his TikTok star girlfriend Katarina Deme.
He said in the live video: 'I have Covid right now, and Kat has Covid too. That's why we're together because I wouldn't be with her if she didn't have it.'
But just moments later he received a text message notification and excitedly announced he was actually Covid negative.

'Wait, I'm Covid-free, what the f**k?! I'm sorry, guys, I just got the text,' he declared.
The Stay singer then tweeted: 'Wow that's so crazy just got the text. I'm now Covid free now as well. God works in mysterious ways.'
To add to the confusion, he was actually seen out and about in Los Angeles with Katarina on Sunday - when he was supposedly 'locked in a room'.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted The Kid Laroi's representatives for comment.
The Kid Laroi's Covid scare comes after he hit the stage with Miley Cyrus at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago on July 29.
