With Christmas just around the corner, Delta Goodrem’s Only Santa Knows jingles up the albums chart 12-2, for a new chart peak. Its climb follows the Dec. 12 airing of the Delta At Christmas special on the free-to-air Nine TV network.
Twenty years after the release of their cut ‘n’ paste masterpiece Since I Left You, Australian electronic act Avalanches crash into the albums chart at No. 4 with We Will Always Love You, their third album. We Will Always Love You is the followup to Wildflower, which ruled the ARIA Albums Chart in 2016.
Competing the Top 5 is iconic rockers Cold Chisel’s The Live Tapes Vol. 5: Live At The Bondi Lifesaver Feb 29, 1980, new at No. 5. Jimmy Barnes and Co. topped the ARIA Albums Chart a year ago with the studio set Blood Moon.
With Taylor Swift flooding the ARIA Singles Chart and snatching top spot, 24kGoldn’s hit “Mood” featuring Iann Dior dips 1-2 and The Kid LAROI’s “Without You” lifts 9-3, for a new peak. It’s the ARIA Award-nominated Sydney rapper’s highest appearance on the chart, eclipsing the No. 8 peak of his previous single “So Done.”
