BTS has released their new Japanese single “Film Out” and its accompanying music video.
According to BTS Japan’s update, “‘Film Out’ is an emotional ballad” about “thinking of that person who still comes to mind” and “never disappears from the heart.”
The music video, which shows the group members gathered in a room in a dream-like sequence, has more than 22 million views and 3.9 million likes less than 24 hours after release.
The song was produced by Iyori Shimizu of Back Number and UTA of TinyVoice Production with the participation of BTS member Jung Kook for the Japanese movie remake of the South Korean drama “Signal.”
It will also be included in the band’s new compilation “BTS, The Best,” which will feature some of the Japanese songs they have released since 2017.
The album, which will be out June 16, will also include BTS’s Billboard No. 1 and Grammy-nominated hit song “Dynamite.”
Last month, BTS performed “Dynamite” at the Grammy Awards, where they were nominated for best group performance. – RC, GMA News
