The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actor's debut single, "Drivers License," has been topping charts and setting records since it was released earlier this month, dominating the internet and hearts of lovestruck and heartbroken fans everywhere. And now, as noted by PopCrave, the track has officially surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, making it the "fastest song in the platform’s history" to hit this milestone.
This isn't the first record Olivia has broken with "Drivers License." As of January 15, the tune earned the biggest weekly streaming debut for any song in US Spotify chart history. Of course, it also reached #1 on the US iTunes Chart, making Olivia the "the first artist to simultaneously rank at #1 on the US iTunes and US Apple Music singles charts this year."
And yet, as true Wildcats know, this is actually Olivia's second time topping the charts. While "Drivers License" is indeed her debut single, her self-written song, "All I Want," from HSMTMTS blew up after becoming a TikTok trending sound back in early 2020. One thing is clear: Olivia is a powerhouse, and there's no stopping her talent.
After all, Olivia's skills were given an official stamp of approval from Taylor Swift, who wrote on social media earlier this month, "I say that's my baby and I'm really proud," followed by some heartfelt emojis. And when you're blessed by the Queen herself, your future couldn't be more bright.
