tvN’s new drama “The Devil Judge” is off to a strong start!
On July 3, the new series starring Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, and GOT7’s Jinyoung premiered to solid viewership ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “The Devil Judge” scored an average nationwide rating of 5.6 percent.
“The Devil Judge” also took first place in its time slot across all channels—even including public broadcast networks—among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average nationwide rating of 3.0 percent and a peak of 3.6 percent.
Meanwhile, MBN’s “Bossam: Steal the Fate”—which has just one episode left in its run—broke its own record for the highest drama ratings ever achieved in MBN history. The penultimate episode of the historical drama scored an average nationwide rating of 9.4 percent ahead of its July 4 finale.
tvN’s new drama “Voice 4” also successfully continued its streak of gaining more viewers with each episode. Its latest broadcast earned a nationwide average of 4.0 percent, marking the highest ratings of the season thus far.
Additionally, “Voice 4” held onto its spot at first place in its time slot across all channels—including public broadcast networks—among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average nationwide rating of 2.7 percent and a peak of 3.1 percent.
TV Chosun’s “Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce 2)” also achieved the highest viewership ratings of its season to date last night. The drama earned an average nationwide rating of 8.9 percent for its latest episode, marking a significant increase from its previous broadcast last week.
JTBC’s “Nevertheless” saw a slight decline in viewership for its third episode, which scored a nationwide average of 1.2 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Revolutionary Sisters” remained the most-watched program to air on any channel on Saturday, scoring an average nationwide rating of 27.9 percent.
